What a Flat 10% Platform Fee Actually Means for Your Venue

Most nightlife software in this space runs on a subscription-plus-sales-call model - several hundred dollars a month before a single reservation comes in, often gated behind a demo call before you can even see pricing. That model makes sense for a venue doing enough volume to justify it. It does not make sense for an independent room just getting its systems in order.

ReserveLoop runs differently: a flat 10% fee per reservation deposit, deducted automatically at the moment a guest pays, on top of a monthly plan that starts well under what a single demo-gated competitor charges before fees. There is no separate invoice for the platform fee - it comes out of the deposit itself, and the rest lands in your own Stripe account immediately.

That "your own Stripe account" detail matters more than it sounds. ReserveLoop never holds or custodies guest funds - your venue is the merchant of record on every transaction. Standard Stripe processing rates apply, same as any card terminal, and we say that plainly instead of burying it, because a platform that hides its true cost structure is not one worth trusting with your deposits.

The trade-off is real and worth naming: a flat percentage means the fee scales with your volume, not against a fixed number of seats or a rigid tier. For a venue just building its booking system, that alignment - we do better when you do better - is the whole point.
